My husband and I dined at Reykjavík Kitchen our very first night in Iceland, and it set the bar impossibly high. The food was absolutely out of this world - the flavors, the textures, even the aromas were unforgettable. We both chose the fish, (there are three fish dishes) that first evening, and it was perfection. We returned the next night for dinner again (that alone says everything), this time ordering the tenderloin—tender, richly flavored, and cooked to absolute precision. After that first meal, we didn’t even consider trying another restaurant for the rest of our stay. For dessert, try the blueberry pancake absolutely delicious!!

We ate here on our last night to celebrate our time in Iceland. The meals and service exceeded our expectations. We had the cod and lamb shank dinners and a nice bottle of wine. We also shared a smoked salmon starter. We did not find this place expensive when you considered the quality of food compared to other expensive food choices in the area. We would recommend.

cozy and relaxing ambient with delicious dishes. The Coffee cured salmon was a beautiful balance of sophistication and somplicity. It was just right firmness and delicaed enough to melt on the palate. The oven baked cod fish fillet topping sundry tomato salsa and lemon thyme polenta was perfectly cooked. The texture was tender and buttery. Fish ceviche was a refreshing burst of bright and clean flavors and the lamb shank was nothing short of exceptional. It was rich , savory and deeply aromatic. It also had that melt-in-your-mouth texture.
