About halfway up Rainbow Road, this spot came highly recommended—and it lived up to the hype. Rustic-hip décor, friendly service, and warm bread with whipped butter served on a lava slab set the tone. The scallops and cod were perfectly cooked, the sashimi was excellent, and the Parmesan baked potatoes were an indulgent delight. Delicious food, great service, and a cool setting. Pro tip: make a reservation, especially in tourist season.

Outstanding seafood restaurant. Had to try the Skal drink ...delicious. ordered the FOTD which was wolf fish. The preparation was superb. Had the rhubarb tart for dessert also delicious. A great way to end my trip to Iceland

We had just arrived in Reykjavik, done some initial sight-seeing and were hungry for some great meal. Sjavargrillith was not our first target, but boy, we did not regret coming here. The interior was cool, the food spectacular, beautifully presented and very delicious. Would definitely come back here again!
