We loved the Reykjavik Food Walk and especially our tour guide Katrin! Each of the stops was unique, thoughtful and delicious food. Katrin did an amazing job providing context and history for each dish and weaving in details about Icelandic life- family, culture, holiday traditions, sport, university life and much more. This made the tour much more than just food! We enjoyed the mix of high end cuisine (delicious smoked salmon, crispy char) and fun Icelandic treats like the famous hot dog and the rye bread ice cream. It was such an immersive way to learn more about daily life in Iceland and to sample the incredible ingredients local to Iceland and the creative cooking style. Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic sharing platter of foods, new friends and fun! Katrin brought her personality to bring alive Icelandic hospitality and culture. The food venues were great and the food fantastic. Couldnt have enjoyed it more! Thank you Katrin

Hilda was a wonderful guide for our Reykjavik Food Walk on Sunday 17/11/25. It was a wonderful experience & she was a wealth of knowledge and lots and lots of fun. We had a great bunch of people in the group that made the experience even better. The fermented shark & Brennivan was tried. You only live once. Definitely recommend Hilda when choosing this company.
