We had an absolutely incredible experience with Wild About Lapland and loved every single tour we joined. Every guide we met was exceptionally friendly, helpful, patient, and deeply knowledgeable—special thanks to Carla and Alberto for making our trip unforgettable. Each day, we were conveniently picked up and dropped off at our accommodation, and we learned so much about Lapland during the scenic drives to every destination. Over four days, we visited the Arctic Zoo, hiked in snow boots up beautiful mountains, trekked to see frozen waterfalls, joined magical night tours in search of the Northern Lights, and experienced reindeer sleigh rides at a local reindeer farm and husky sledding. Every moment was unique and truly memorable—we couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience the beauty of Lapland!

We booked an aurora hunting tour at the last minute after our tour with another operator got cancelled due to bad weather the previous day. We are so happy we found Wild About Lapland. We had the loveliest guide, Patrick. The conditions weren’t promising due to heavy cloud cover and low solar activity. But Patrick didn’t give up. He drove around to several locations until 3 hours later, we finally found some aurora activity. I don’t know who was more excited - Patrick or us! He took great photos of the aurora and also of us with the aurora in the background. We got all of our photos within 24 hours of the tour. I am so happy as this had been something that I have been dreaming of for a long time. Even though there are no guarantees of success with a natural phenomenon, it’s been great traveling with Wild About Lapland as Patrick did every thing within his power to make sure we got to see something. I highly recommend Wild About Lapland if you are in Rovaniemi and looking for an operator to go Aurora hunting with.

I joined the ski trekking tour and it was an amazing forest. Jeremy, our guide had an amazing personality and made us feel very welcome. He was very knowledgeable and showed us many things while we were trekking through the beautiful forest. At the end, he made us a lovely fire and taught us the intricacies of firemaking too. Recommend 100%!
