We had the “Taste the North” menu here and it was fantastic. This set menu features three delicious courses, with the standout for me being Oula’s Reindeer - a tender striploin served with a rich game sauce, celeriac, and oyster mushrooms. This was all accompanied by very friendly, attentive service and a great atmosphere. It’s definitely not cheap, but absolutely worth it. One of the best meals we had in Rovaniemi.

A great place that anyone visiting Rovaniemi should try! Taiga restaurant located right in the city center, easy to find. This place is decorated in a warm, cozy Lapland style that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The food is definitely a highlight and a great way to explore the unique flavors of the Lapland region. I really loved how they incorporated local ingredients into every dish on the menu. I ordered the salmon soup and the arctic char (a fish you can only find in this area), and both were absolutely delicious. The sourdough bread and the artichoke soup are also worth trying! Another big plus is the staff here in this restaurant. They are super friendly, professional, and happy to explain the dishes or suggest drink pairings. I’d definitely come back!

In this restaurant everything was flawless! We took the Aurora menu and everything was perfect. Congratulations to the chef and staff who were professional and efficient. There is no need to book in December, but if you go early enough, you will find space. And if not,It's definitely worth the wait 😉
