It was kinda a spontaneous idea for me to go to Antartica. I started looking for Antartica cruise around 1.5 month before my departure. Martina was really helpful by giving me a list of cruises available based on my desired month and budget. She was helpful and responded to me emails quickly. Thanks Martina in answering my questions. As for my Antarctica trip, it was 10+ out of 10 trip! I have nothing to complain ! It's actually even better than I imagined. The ship was new and modern. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi a lot. And the staff and expedition team were amazing! They are super friendly, and professional! I guess because I was travelled solo so the restaurant staff remembered my name on the 2nd/3rd day. I felt really warm and welcomed. As for the food, there were different variety of food available. I am not a big fan on the food in the cruise but the dessert were amazing. Thanks to the weather and professionalism of the expedition teams, I was able to have 2 excursions everyday besides the last days. I think it was the max. excursions they can offer. I did 11 excursions for a 12 days itinerary and they were all incredible. My ship also offered citizen science program so I participated cloud survey, bird survey and also the phytoplankton project. I guess I was lucky to see a lost emperor penguin, lots of orcas, and humpback whales. I guess I was super lucky as I have perfect weather, professional expedition team snd ship staffs, nice ship, and the best people I met in the ship. Everything sum up to my unforgettable and perfect Antartica trip. The only bad thing for my trip was my serious seasick as I had drake shake for both ways . But it is negligible considering how perfect the trip was.

I can't express how grateful I am to Antarctica Travels and my agent, Sofia, for making my dream of visiting Antarctica a reality! From the moment I first reached out, Sofia was incredibly helpful and responsive. I had tons of questions and even hesitated for a few months before finally deciding to book, but Sofia patiently answered every single one and provided unwavering support. As a Japanese traveler with limited English skills, I was a bit worried about understanding all the pre-trip information. However, Sofia and the Antarctica Travels team were fantastic about promptly answering my questions and ensuring I felt fully prepared. Antarctica itself was even more incredible than I could have imagined – it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! The ship's staff was amazing – so friendly, professional, and dedicated to making our trip unforgettable. I made friends with fellow travelers from 20 different countries, and we all had an absolute blast together. Thanks to Antarctica Travels and the wonderful Sofia, this was the best experience of my life!
