Update: As there is only one review allowed, I decided to update my last review here. I will not delete the text, because I think authentic reviews are important. So you find it below. Although we got a second chance with Nori today and the whole evening was completely different. So of course I changed the stars from 3 to 5. This time we already got told with our reservation that there is a big group coming, so we came a little bit earlier to avoid waiting time. I guess the last time was just an unlucky coincidence that we ordered shortly after some big groups. We had an awesome table in a quiet corner of the restaurant. Which is great for us. The food again. Nothing to complain. It’s extraordinary. Like I wrote the last time, the meat is incredible soft. You should try the reindeer. If you love food, where the chef thought about each detail, come to this place. Everything fits together. Of course we had the same dishes as last time (they were too good, don’t blame us). Waiting time for the food was very ok this time. Starter came in no time at all, I guess 5 minutes. Main course was 15 minutes later (!). I want to emphasize this as it’s very fast for the quality and complexity of the plates and quite a different experience than the last time. We got also an explanation what happened with our last reservation and unfortunately it was a big misunderstanding and someone took our table 🫠 people please don’t do that. Everyone was very attentive and thoughtful this time. We felt very welcome. Of course we also would come a third time, when we are back in Alta next time. ***** This is the first original review from the first visit: Unfortunately we have to give 3 stars although the food is excellent. Never had such a soft meat than here. So why we can’t give 5 starts you ask? 1) we had a reservation yesterday (it was for my birthday, we also mentioned it in the reservation). When we arrived they did not find our reservation in their system but found us a table That was nice, but of course it was not the table we asked for. My husband mentioned in the reservation that we want a nice table, quite and not somewhere in the middle. They have those tables but obviously we didn’t get one. 2) there were 2 other birthdays in the restaurant that day. They both got a surprise from the kitchen with a firework. I obviously did not as they did not find the reservation. It was a special birthday and it would have been nice to get an acknowledgment here. 3) we waited over 50 minutes for our food. I don’t know where you are coming from or if this is normal for Norway. For us it’s damn long. We did not get an explanation although the table next to us, which also waited so long, did get an explanation that they waited because of us. If you love excellent food and do not mind the wait, here is your place.

We‘ve been here at the end of last year. The food is definitely 12/10. It‘s well prepared and the decoration looks nice. To be honest, that's really great. But what is particularly outstanding is the coordination of the individual components. The dishes are excellently seasoned and you practically have a taste explosion in your mouth. All our dishes were the same in Point (reindeer, chicken). We had a little misunderstanding on our first visit but we were there a second time and everything was great. We would come back any time.

Very friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, also the food was amazing and definitely worth a try.
