How? From the very first moment, Húsavík Adventures created a warm and fun atmosphere. Inaki greeted us with a lovely smile and great energy, explaining the entire process clearly and answering every question with love and patience. The equipment we received before the tour, including the anti-cold and buoyancy suits, was high-quality and perfectly fitted, which added to our sense of security. The zodiac boat itself was new, well-maintained, and gave a good feeling right from the start. What? The whale watching tour was an amazing experience. We were lucky to have a clear and sunny day and saw quite a few whales. The highlight was encountering a huge pod of about 40 pilot whales, which, according to Inaki, had last been spotted in the bay two years ago. We were exceptionally lucky. Throughout the tour, Inaki was attentive, answered all our questions, and shared in our excitement with every single moment. The Bottom Line Húsavík Adventures is an excellent company, and I highly recommend them. The cozy atmosphere, personal service, and professionalism of the staff, along with the high-quality equipment, make the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a whale watching tour with guides who truly care, I have no doubt you'll enjoy every moment. I would take another tour with them again without hesitation.

Fantastic trip! Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide or captain, who both hailed from Spain. The guide's enthusiasm was infectious and made the trip all the more enjoyable. We saw a ton of puffins and then followed along with a good group of dolphins before seeing a half dozen or so humpback whales. I reviewed several different options before settling on this tour and was very happy with the choice. The RIB (boat) was a great platform for our whale trip. The sea was calm at the time, but the ride was definitely smooth. The boat was also not crowded with only 12 seats for passengers. Highly recommend! For planning purposes, it can get cold on the water. They give you a waterproof top and bottom which help but you still want to dress warm underneath. A balaclava can be helpful for the trip out and back, even during our trip in July. There was some rain on our way out and I appreciated the balaclava. However, none of the other four members of my family had one and they were also okay. They did pull up the hood from the waterproof coat they gave us.

Great adventure with super team! It was fantastic experience- we saw whales and our guide Injaki (sorry if I mistake the name!) was amazing- he provided us with information and comments, with great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend the trip on speed boat - it’s funny and much more maneuverable to see whales. I’ve never seen whales so close before. Thanks a lot for a memorable day in our trip to Iceland! Katya and Olga
