Boutique hotel just outside Selfoss in the middle of a picturesque location nestled in the hills. Rooms are spacious and well-equipped. The sauna and the hot tub are exactly as advertised. Breakfast had a lot of options and they also has some cakes and cookies at all hours in the lobby. Overall very good experience and would definitely come back.

Absolutely perfect. The man who greeted us in the evening was just wonderful. He have tips and pointers and ideas. He showed me so many places to see on a map. The rooms are a little outdated but very clean and warm. The hot tubs and sauna are clean and wonderful after a cold day of adventures. Breakfast was top notch. Exceeded every expectation. I can't believe we paid so little for such a wonderful place. 100% recommend!!

As a tour guide, I have to pay close attention to accommodation. I have to be sure that all my passengers will be satisfied. I have chosen Hotel Kvika several times. Booking is easy, the staff are extremely helpful, the rooms are very nice, and the location is perfect. When the northern light appears, we just have to go out to the parking lot to see it, or we can watch it from the hot tub. This is the best option when traveling to Iceland.
