Great place to see the northern lights! Close to Hofn, good location to stay while following the ring road. The room was clean. Breakfasts were available. We could use the microwave even though we did not have breakfast offered here.

We only stayed here for an overnight to visit the Stokknes beach , this hotel is our favorite & surprisingly nice hotel in the area with their spacious room, comfy bed , quiet surroundings and the reception lady is very accommodating. At first we were worried of the bad review about the smell so when we booked we asked to see the room but we were surprised that there’s none of that and in fact it was soo clean and nice and no smell at all. We had a view of the mountains. Also breakfast is good & filling, the lady made us egg just perfect. Travelled a lot and always looking for spacious room, clean and comfy bed hotel as our top priority and this was a great find. Not a lot of hotel nearby at this remote area in Iceland this nice at a good value. If we drive up this far north in Höfn, we will surely book this hotel again. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot for a one-night break during the Iceland adventure! The rooms are simple but comfortable, with direct access to the stunning nature. Highly recommended for travelers looking to rest and recharge in a peaceful, authentic area.
