This restaurant was perfect in everything. We have to wait for a table but that wasn’t a problem (so book in advance as it’s popular); the food was amazing, one of the best steaks ever, but everything was delicious so you can order everything from the menu. We’ve had a mix of fish/meat and vegetables plates, deserts as well. The atmosphere was very cosy and relaxing and the service was good as well. 5 well deserved stars!!

The duck burger was one of my favorite dishes in Iceland. The seafood soup had an excellent dill flavor and went well with the cheese platter. Just be aware that the dishes are seasonal so some things you see on the reviews won’t be there. I liked their option to do the tasting series or order individual entrees and small plates. There was a language barrier mix up with the waiter but the staff was very courteous and remedied the situation. Overall great experience.

Luckily, the hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday, so I was able to try this bistro... Exceptional food, and a bonus for having Guinness... The guy who served me was very kind, helpful, and patient, given my Caracas-style English... Overall, I paid a fair price compared to hotel restaurants that rip you off. Go there! Intimate candlelit atmosphere and soft music... Truly an excellent restaurant!!!
