Had the best day ever, one of the highlights of our Lapland trip. It felt so unique to be away from all of the other tourists. Visiting a REAL reindeer farm instead of one just build for tourists is a massive plus. Then visiting Hali’s family house near the lake to enjoy her cookings and bakings before going to snowshoe over the lake into the wilderness was just as amazing. Learning everything about Lapland from people who lived there all their lives and were born and raised there is unique. It felt like we made friends and we’ll definitely come back!

My first time seeing the Northern Lights was in 2023 during a trip to Iceland. While it was a beautiful experience, the lights weren’t very clear. In December 2025, I travelled to Finland with a group of friends and had the most incredible experience with Soma Adventures. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis, even taking us out a couple of days earlier than our original booking because the forecast for our scheduled night was very cloudy. That level of care truly set them apart. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights and take amazing photos especially with their cute dog Zorre, then were welcomed into their cabin, which felt intimate, warm, and personal. They provided food and drinks and took the time to educate us about how the Northern Lights occur. Learning that it’s a family-run business and that the cabin itself is their family cabin made the experience feel even more special and unique. The entire evening felt organic, thoughtful, and unforgettable. I truly wish these wonderful ladies and their business continued growth and success. I can confidently say that my group and I look forward to returning, and I would highly recommend Soma Adventures to anyone visiting the Finnish Lapland area you will not regret it. It was genuinely a lovely experience. ✨

Simply the best! Our time with Soma Adventures was the highlight of an amazing trip to Laplands. If you are going to Rovaniemi, add in a side trip to Levi just to spend time with Heli and Soma Adventures - it’ll be worthwhile. We did a reindeer farm and snowshoeing and then went back to see the northern lights on the most gorgeous lake. This was better than our snowmobiling tour and our dog sled tour combined! It was an authentic experience seeing life on a reindeer farm, spending time with a kind and wonderful local, and taking in the most gorgeous scenery I’ve ever witnessed.
