Beautiful environment, lovely place, great and hard-working staff. The kitchen is delightful and plays better music than the rest of the hotel in my opinion. A fantastic place to rest and enjoy a spectacular view of Lapland. Most of the negative reviews here are about the day spa - the hotel itself is a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

[late review from December 2024] This hotel was simply amazing, from the rooms allowing you to enjoy the forest view to the incredible hotel staff's service. Despite staying here a few nights we unfortunately did not get to fully experience the hotel's amenities as we had plenty of activities booked. Even though we had to always leave early in the morning, prior to the restaurant opening, the staff would pack us a lunchbox with breakfast. We could see the northern lights from our hotel's location and there was plenty of snow to play. It is important to notice that the hotel is a bit far from the city/ main attractions and public transport is not as convenient from this location. We rented a car and could reach our different meeting points/attractions within a few minutes.

This is a review for the Christmas dinner we had on 24.12.2025. First of all, even well before the dinner, the staff was incredibly helpful, they accommodated our special request both in terms of timing and switching one of the dishes for 2 members of our party. Before we even started the 7 course special Christmas menu, we had a great surprise! Santa himself visited the restaurant and gave us presents as well as had a photo opportunity with him! Then the 7 course dinner was simply delicious! No surprise Chef Matias Haapsaari has won the 2024 IKA Culinary Olympics gold medal! And not to mention the service: attentive, fast, professional! I highly recommend this restaurant, I bet they can keep the same quality on a normal weekday as well.
